Flower Delivery Days in Egypt: Sundays and Public Holidays
Flower delivery in Egypt runs Monday to Saturday, and nothing is delivered on Sundays or main public holidays. If you order before midnight Egypt time, the bouquet arrives the next day, as long as that day is a delivery day. Because a Sunday or holiday can block the date you have in mind, plan backward from the day you want the flowers to arrive.
When Does Flower Delivery Happen in Egypt?
FlowersEgypt delivers next day across Egypt, Monday to Saturday. The coverage includes Cairo, Alexandria, Giza, Luxor and Port Said, plus 22 more city pages. A local florist hand-delivers each bouquet, plant or gift to the address you provide.
Same-day delivery is not offered. If you need flowers this afternoon, they will not arrive this afternoon. The earliest realistic arrival is the next delivery day after your order.
Can You Order Flower Delivery in Egypt on a Sunday?
You can place an order on a Sunday, but nothing is delivered that day. An order placed before midnight on Sunday is due for delivery the next day, Monday, which is a delivery day.
Saturday orders need more care. The next calendar day is Sunday, so a Saturday order will not arrive on Sunday. If the date matters, check with the florist, who uses your phone number to coordinate the delivery, before you rely on it.
Which Public Holidays Have No Flower Delivery?
The site does not deliver on main public holidays. It does not publish a day-by-day list, so check an Egyptian public holiday calendar before you choose a date, since the exact dates are set each year.
Eid al-Fitr (عيد الفطر) and Eid al-Adha (عيد الأضحى) are two of Egypt's major holidays. They follow the Islamic calendar, so they move about 11 days earlier each year. If you want to order flowers around a holiday, pick a delivery day before it. For Christmas dates, read our guide to Christmas flowers in Egypt on December 25 or January 7.
What Is the Order Cutoff for Next-Day Delivery in Egypt?
To send flowers to Egypt next day, the order must be placed before midnight Egypt time, not midnight where you live. Egypt is several hours ahead of most of the US, UK and Europe. A 10 p.m. order in New York is already the next morning in Cairo.
A simple rule: place the order during your own working day, then check the time in Egypt. An order placed on Thursday before midnight Egypt time is delivered on Friday. Do not leave it until late in the evening.
How Do You Plan Valentine's Day and Mother's Day When They Fall on a Sunday?
In 2027, Valentine's Day (Eid el-Hob, عيد الحب) on February 14 and Mother's Day (Eid el-Om, عيد الأم) on March 21 both fall on a Sunday. Since nothing is delivered on Sunday, the flowers must arrive on Saturday, so the order goes in the day before. Christmas falls on a Friday in 2026.
| Occasion | Date | Last order for next-day delivery | Price from (incl. delivery) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Christmas | Friday, December 25, 2026 | Thursday, December 24, before midnight Egypt time | USD 78.19 |
| Valentine's Day | Sunday, February 14, 2027 | Friday, February 12, for Saturday delivery | USD 78.19 |
| Mother's Day | Sunday, March 21, 2027 | Friday, March 19, for Saturday delivery | USD 78.19 |
The site advises ordering two to three days ahead for these dates. For a Saturday delivery, that means Wednesday or Thursday, with Friday as the last safe day. Red roses are the usual Valentine's choice, and Iridescent Rose Luxe is one option for a larger budget.
Can You Request a Preferred Delivery Time in Egypt?
Yes. Write your preferred time in the delivery instructions. The florist tries to meet it, but exact time slots are not guaranteed, so treat the time as a request rather than a booking.
The florist needs three things: the recipient's name, a full address and a phone number. Every order includes a free printed card, so put your message there. Keep the recipient's phone number current, since that is how the florist coordinates the delivery.
To order, visit flowersegypt.com, browse the flowers category, and pay in USD by international card or PayPal. Orders are accepted from any country, and you can choose the delivery date with the Egypt cutoffs above in mind.
